Children’s Aid Foundation of Nova Scotia
We helped modernize this non-profit’s brand and website with stunning visuals and striking colour. The refresh brough a sizable increase to web traffic and brand visibility.
Background
Children’s Aid Foundation of Nova Scotia (CAFNS) is a non-profit that helps kids across Nova Scotia thrive. With their direct funding programs and various initiatives, they ensure that kids in need are supported quickly and compassionately.
The brief
CAFNS came to us with an outdated logo and a website with bugs and broken buttons. We needed to create a unique brand that better reflected their mission, and a website that could sell symbolic products, host their grant applications, and clearly convey their story.
What CAFNS needed
1
A 10+ page website with eCommerce capabilities
2
Password-protected application area
3
A refreshed brand with logo variations and lockups
4
Brand guidelines, including colours, fonts, and social media templates
The challenge
Unify their brand and visually emulate the breadth of their initiatives and mission. In addition, their website needed to balance a youthful spirit while conveying important information and being visually compelling.
The solution
For their new brand, we kept the logo minimal while leaning on colour to capture the diversity of what CAFNS offers. We started a new website from scratch and focused on soft edges, incorporating the new brand colours, and bringing in bold visuals.
Within the first year of launching the site, CAFNS saw...
increase in website visits
result on Google when searching for “children’s charity Nova Scotia”
return on investment (ROI)
“Everything was delivered on time (or early), they were so communicative and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to work with an amazing and talented marketing agency.”
